Last week my mom drove down for a visit. I met her at our favorite motel four hours away so she would not have to make the entire trip in one day. We shared the price of the room, took a dip in the hot tub and pool, and enjoyed the morning breakfast at the motel. We also enjoyed looking at the river in town.
Here on this side of the state we drove to one of the farms and looked at the tables of vegetables they sell. It never ceases to amaze me the type of things that can be grown. There are different shapes and sizes and they all look fascinating. I always take pictures when we go over. Mom ended up buying 25 pounds of potatoes and 10 pounds of apples.
While mom was in town we went and saw the ex. Mary is about the same although she was having trouble with her laptop getting onto the Internet. They are working on her section of the building so she can get a signal without having to leave her room.
Life here is about the same. I may not be doing much more traveling this year as the roads will start getting snow in the higher elevations. In fact I was reading how some roads in Yellowstone National Park have been closed because of snow. I expect there will be snow in my area in the next several weeks.
The year will soon be drawing to a close. I hope everyone enjoys the coming holiday season. Thanks for stopping by…
