I am blessed to live in this country. And today reminds me of one of the reasons why I am so blessed. Our right to vote is an honor and a privilege.
Today I went and voted before I took my morning walk. And I must admit I felt rather good to have been able to cast a ballot. Other people in other countries do not have the fortunes I have just to cast a simple ballot.
We all have various opinions and differ politically. So I won’t bother with any opinions. I don’t enjoy discussing politics much, especially when my major passion is writing. But I will encourage one and all to go and vote.
Have a great Tuesday. Now that our votes are being cast we can look forward to the excitement of the upcoming holiday season. I’m already considering how I can leave some funds with Hickory Farms, a sausage and cheese and other goodies company.
