7 months ago on February 24 I hit 600 posts. With the posting of my story My Drowning Master I have now reached 700. Of the last 100 story posts 42 were actually written during the last 7 months, with several more that were written that have yet to be posted.
A lot of the newer stories reveal that I have branched out into other dryer themes. Most have a common denominator being “a female in some sort of peril”. But I still enjoy writing the erotic tale that takes place mostly underwater.
My 700th post – My Drowning Master – was written for someone in particular back in February of last year. I intended to add more chapters to it but lost interest and never got back to it. After looking at it again I decided I could just go ahead and post it. I will warn you that it does have a similar feel to my Treachery in the Mediterranean story. Both are based on an old Marquis story that inspired me that I read several years ago.
I have been picking and choosing to post older stories in my archives that I’ve never posted before. Some of them I have been editing heavily; others not so much. You may have noticed some AF picture stories that I have never posted before that show I went back and edited them recently before putting them out. It is the perfectionist in me trying to decide how much I need to tweak a story before putting it out.
Some of you may have noticed a couple of new names this year that I have been writing for. Dorothy and Zilpha are half-sisters who live in the United Kingdom. Both have a wide range of peril fantasies, although Dorothy also shares some of my drowning fantasies. They have been great fun to write for and I love them both. If you enjoy their stories, then be looking for a new category for them sometime in the near future. In the meantime feel free to use the search function with either name to see what stories I have written for and about them.
I’ve noticed some stories do not seem to be well received and that is ok. I am well aware that my stories reach out to a wide variety of tastes. I don’t expect everyone to like everything I post; that would be unrealistic. But I do hope that something I have posted in the library catches your eye and gives each one of you something pleasant and enjoyable to read.
The rating system and the comments help give me an indication of where I may have succeeded in some areas. Some stories have received a lot of positive ratings, making me feel good that I did hit a home run with that particular story. Other ratings tell me it was not their style or type of story and I understand that. I appreciate your understanding that we all have different likes and dislikes. What appeals to you might not appeal to someone else and vice versa.
I am still keeping track of the requests I get. I cannot promise I will get to each and every one as there are some stories that simply do not attract my attention. On the other hand, I have been hit with sudden inspiration from time to time and have been known to pump out a story in an afternoon or evening. I’m sure other authors would agree that is how inspiration can work sometimes. So that is why I keep a file of story ideas. I never know when inspiration might strike as I go back through them again.
As always, I want to thank you for stopping by. There are many places to surf on the Internet. The fact that you stopped here means a lot to me. I do hope there is a story somewhere in my library that turns out to be an enjoyable read for you.
Summer is over! Enjoy the fall and the changing of the leaves and the coming holidays! Stay safe and healthy! And thanks for stopping by…
