November stories/rewards will fall off at the end of December to make room for January rewards.
As crazy as this world has gotten, I’m surprised we’re still here. Wars, natural disasters, signs in the skies (drones) and this continuous avian flu still attacking the birds, including our chickens. And I’m hearing reports all over of people being laid off from large companies. So I pray you still have your jobs.
We sure had an interesting election cycle; didn’t we. I got tired of all the political ads on the radio and in my mail. And as crazy as all this has been, I have a funny feeling things are going to get even crazier in 2025. I believe this has become our new normal, but I have a sneaking suspicion our “new normal” is going to keep deteriorating. Some people are understandably preparing for the worst.
Mom and I are not worried. For starters, I’m going to focus on my stories. I still sprinkle in some older tales I’ve edited. But I am uploading a lot of newer material written in ‘24 (including one from ‘23). And I’m going to keep focusing on mom while I still have her.
We’re eating out a couple times this week to celebrate Christmas. Our present to each other is to simply spend some time together eating and chatting. And as for the rest of it? I’m just going to sit back with some popcorn and soda and see what happens. You’ve probably guessed by now Who I’m putting my faith and hope in, and it certainly isn’t the incoming administration, although I do hope things change for the better.
I hope and pray you all have a very nice Christmas with friends and family. And have a happy New Year. Me and my stories will catch up to you in January. Thank you all so very much for being my patrons.
