We got our first snowfall of the winter season. Roads were tricky and there were numerous slide-offs and accidents. The cold remained for several days and roads remained rough in places and conducive to fender-benders. For the most part I stayed off them until we got warmer weather, which has sense melted most of it away. I can be thankful I do not live in Buffalo, but you can see by the picture that we had our fair share of snow to contend with.
Mom has had her share of bad weather. Whenever she learns it is on the way, she stocks up on groceries and then tells me she camps out in her den with the radio and her computer. If it hits me first, chances are it will be on her doorstep in a day or two. We email back and forth, usually talking about the weather or something interesting she has discovered on the Internet. Otherwise she is doing well.
I visited the ex recently. Mary is appreciative of my weekly visits. And the nurses are always so kind to fetch me a chair to use during my stay. I have a great deal of respect for them and the work they do with their patients, especially some of the more difficult ones. Mary can get anxious at times, and she’s been to the hospital a time or two because of her racing heart. They are trying to help her learn to relax and be patient, and to understand she is not the only individual they have to take care of.
I have begun uploading stories to my other location. So far everything that has gone up is completely new. In one instance I have bundled two stories together, and in another I have bundled three. For your convenience I will put up an additional blog to alert you to what I have posted there and the contents of each story. For now they are all underwater related, but I hope to have a noose story going up in my next upload.
In the meantime I have begun putting some stories back into the library. For now I check on Wednesdays and Saturdays to see which stories I will put back up, usually one or two at a time. But I suspect you have already discovered my tactic when you notice stories re-appearing in categories or observe tags re-appearing. I will try to give careful consideration as to which ones should return so you will have a nice variety as well as some favorites.
I hope you have been enjoying the stories from the new authors. For now Hitomi has me posting her stories for her, although I make sure they go up in her own category. My desire is thus: by adding a little more variety, you will find the library an enjoyable place to camp out for a few minutes or an hour or so for some nice reading. So fetch your favorite beverage, kick off your shoes, get comfortable, and settle in for awhile.
Enjoy your visit. And thanks for stopping by…
