Livia

Livia rode the weighted plate down, bubbles trickling out of her nose. She felt the pressure the deeper she went. But the water was clear, the sky blue.

It was a long way down. But this did not bother her. She had trained for these depths, and was not at all uncomfortable.

She looked upward, only to see Barcusa and Fausta coming down on their skandalopetras. She experienced jealousy as they came down so close to each other. Already, they were reaching out and touching one another. Just how many sea snails did they expect to find with their eyes fixed upon each other?

Livia reached the bottom and began her search. She promptly found one and put it into her rope basket. They had to find as many as possible for the purple dye master wanted or he would be angry with them.

Barcusa and Fausta reached the bottom a short distance nearby. But they did not start searching for sea snails. Instead, they began kissing and caressing each other.

Livia was disgusted over the way they wasted time on the bottom. She was also envious. She would not admit it to anyone, but she secretly wanted to feel Barcusa’s erection inside her.

She picked up another sea snail and dropped it into her rope basket. A quick glance showed her companions looking around and scooping up sea snails. But they were soon distracted by their naked bodies, causing them to go back to kissing and fondling each other.

She soon filled up her basket. Then she climbed onto her skandalopetra and pulled on the rope. A moment later she felt herself being pulled back up, bubbles trickling out of her nose.

She looked down to see Barcusa and Fausta searching for more sea snails. Then they moved to their weighted plates and pulled on their ropes. Livia noticed their rope baskets were not as full as hers.

She released bubbles out of her nose as she was pulled upward. Her head emerged at the surface, and she gasped for breath. She quickly unhooked the rope basket attached to her waist before tossing it into the boat.

A full basket already; eh, Livia?” Marius observed with a smile as he clung to her rope. “Master will be proud of you.”

She looked over at Cassius and Rufus pulling up Barcusa and Fausta. She was tempted to say something about how full those rope baskets would be when they arrived. But she kept her peace.

At this rate, we will not be out here long,” Marius told her. Livia just smiled at him as she took the empty rope basket he handed to her and attached it around her waist. Then she took three deep breaths, holding onto the third one as Marius let go of her rope.

She rode her skandalopetra back down to the depths, bubbles trickling out of her nose. She pinched her nose to equalize as she looked down, focusing on where she was about to settle onto the ocean floor. She had some sea snails spotted when she hit the bottom, her weighted plate kicking up a small cloud of silty soil.

She went right to work picking up more sea snails and depositing them into her rope basket as bubbles trickled out of her nose. A moment later, something made her look up. That’s when she noticed Barcusa and Fausta coming back down.

What would they do once they reached the sea floor. Would they help complete the task at hand as master required? Or would they spend their time clutching and groping each other? She would not be surprised if they ended up spending more time pleasuring each other than retrieving sea snails off the ocean floor.

She and her two companions were the best divers master had. Thus, he always sent them out into deeper water. But it seemed Barcusa and Fausta were always fondling and caressing each other more than retrieving their daily catch.

There was another reason Livia was both jealous and disgusted. Barcusa had not made a single sexual move toward her in the short time she’d been with them. It was always Fausta he chose to play with.

This both saddened and irritated her. It also drove her to apply herself to the task at hand. One day master would see her value and would promote her out of this existence… or so she hoped.

But what if master did not find anyone who could replace her? How long would she have to keep this up? And how long would she end up being envious watching Barcusa and Fausta focus on each other more than the sea snails they needed to retrieve?

They came down and promptly went at it again, kissing and caressing each other. Livia bubbled as she focused on filling her rope basket. It would not help watching them and becoming aroused or depressed by their amorous caresses. The sooner they filled the boat with sea snails, the happier she would be.

At least they had not begun to have sex yet. That always happened whenever they dove together. Livia pictured in her mind the last time Barcusa had shafted Fausta on the seabed, and the pleasure her companion had bubbled by his thrusts.

Livia quickly filled her basket. Then she climbed onto the weighted plate and pulled on the rope. That’s when she looked over and saw her two companions gathering up a few sea snails into their rope baskets before going back to their amorous advances with each other.

Livia slowly released what was left of her breath as she was pulled upward. She was both sad and horny. It was quite difficult holding onto both emotions. One or the other simply had to go or she would end up quite depressed by the whole endeavor.

Her head emerged up at the surface, and she gasped for breath. Then she freed the rope basket from her waist before handing it up to Rufus, who’d come over to assist since he wasn’t pulling anyone up just yet. He took it from her before handing back the empty basket she’d previously filled up.

There must be many sea snails down below,” Marius observed as he held onto her rope. “Your rope basket is always full.”

There are plenty,” Livia replied. “I just wish Barcusa and Fausta would apply themselves to the collection of sea snails rather than the collection of pleasures of the flesh.”

Jealous?” Marius asked with amusement.

Of them? Hah! I will collect my share of sea snails to gain master’s favor. Let them give pleasure to each other all they wish.”

She is jealous they do not include her,” Rufus observed with a chuckle. “Perhaps I will tell them when they surface.”

Livia angrily turned in his direction and blurted out, “You stay out of this!” He just laughed in reply.

Prepare, Livia,” Marius warned ominously.

She glared at him as she took deep breaths. On the third one, he let go of the rope. Livia rode her skandalopetra all the way down, bubbles trickling out of her nose.

As she went down, she made her decision. She would not be sad or frustrated this day. Instead, she would do her duty and gather sea snails. Then she would take care of matters her own way.

She saw they were coming up as she was going down. Livia made a show of rubbing herself on the way down, making sure they saw her. Then she bottomed out.

The boat had drifted away from their location. This time, she had to swim over to collect the sea snails. Livia actively applied herself, swooping them up and quickly placing them into her rope basket as bubbles trickled out of her nose.

Barcusa and Fausta came back down about halfway through her collection. This time, they had to spend more time collecting sea snails instead of collecting kisses. Besides, there was a bit of a swim, as the boat had drifted away from the spot where it had previously dropped them.

Livia filled her basket almost to overflowing. But she still had breath in her lungs. This time, she deliberately masturbated as her two companions went around gathering up snails.

That is how to finally put them to work,’ she thought with satisfaction. ‘Place the boat far enough away for them to have to swim to the collection site. That way, there will be less time for pleasure and more time needed for the task at hand.’

She saw that Fausta had caught sight of her rubbing herself. Livia just smiled back at her before tugging on her rope. Then she made a point of showing off her full basket before she was pulled back up.

She caught sight of the hammerhead about halfway up. Upon first glance, it seemed to be acting nonchalant. But a second look in its direction indicated it was growing more curious about the two divers still on the bottom.

Livia grew alarmed as she drew closer to the surface. Was the shark hungry? Was it going to strike?

She was already detaching the rope basket from around her waist when her head came up out of the water. Fortunately Rufus was right there to collect it from her. “Knife!” she gasped, holding out her free hand.

We are collecting sea snails today, not pearls,” Cassius corrected her with a shake of his head.

I saw a shark! Barcusa and Fausta will be coming up soon! Give me the knife!”

Rufus jumped to obey as Marius told her, “Into the boat, Livia.”

No! Where is the knife? I must have it!” Rufus quickly brought it over and carefully handed it to her. It was at least a half-meter long, used mostly for prying oysters from reefs and coral.

Marius became insistent and anxious. “Livia, you must get out of the water!” But she ignored him as she dunked her head underwater, looking down toward her companions still on the bottom.

I’ve got a pull on the rope,” Cassius called out. Rufus went over and grabbed the other line. “I’ve got a pull as well,” he confirmed.

Pull them up!” Marius anxiously declared. Then he told the third diver, “Livia, I told you to get out of the water!” But she was not listening to him. She was looking down.

Livia!!” That’s when she lifted her head up.

She took three deep breaths, held the third one as she held the knife at the ready, and then declared, “Now!”

NO!” Marius declared, indicating he would not let go.

Do as she says!” Cassius declared. Marius reluctantly let go of the rope.

Bubbles trickled out of her nose as she descended. Her companions were coming up, seemingly a bit faster this time. Cassius and Rufus must really be pulling hard.

But so was the shark. This time, it seemed interested in them. It appeared to be heading right for them with greater speed, hardly any deviation from its course.

Barcusa and Fausta saw her coming down with the large knife in her hand. At first, they were confused. Then they looked down. That’s when Fausta pointed.

They bubbled with alarm as the shark drew closer. Livia hoped she had timed this just right. It looked like her, the shark and her companions were about to come together at roughly the same time and at the same depth. Would she get there in time?

Yes, the shark looked as though it was going to strike. But at which one of her two rising companions? Did it really matter which one it wanted?

Livia launched herself off her skandalopetra toward the shark as her companions passed her on their way up. The hammerhead turned toward the new meal coming directly toward it. But that was its mistake.

The knife only made a glancing blow, not even penetrating the skin as it was knocked out of her hands. But it was enough to startle the shark. Not expecting a prey so aggressive, it jerked away with a hard swat of it’s tail before heading off, searching for something a little less feisty to dine on.

Livia was sent bubbling and tumbling from the strike of the tail. But she quickly righted herself. She anxiously scanned for the predator, but saw nothing. Then she grabbed the rope to her weighted plate, giving it a frantic pull. She was relieved when the rope came to an abrupt stop before it began to be reeled back in.

She held her breath, her heart beating fast as she held on. That had been close… and perhaps a little foolhardy. Maybe Marius had been right: she probably should have gotten into the boat. But she could not make herself do that until her companions were safely back at the surface.

She was pulled up until her head finally came up out of the water. Her diving companions were nervously clinging to the side of the boat as she gasped for breath. She looked back down before finally sputtering, “Is it gone? I cannot see it anymore!”

Whatever you did down there, it didn’t like it,” Rufus told her. “We watched it leave.” Then he frowned before asking, “What happened to the knife?”

Livia lowered her head in shame. “I only gave it a glancing blow. I did not draw blood. It was knocked out of my hand. I’ll have to go back down and retrieve it.”

Can’t we leave it?” Cassius asked, unsure if he wanted to send any of them back down for it.

We dare not,” Livia told him. “Master might be angry with us. Besides, it shouldn’t be that hard to find.”

I will go,” Barcusa firmly told her. “You have had a scare.”

I was in possession of the knife when I lost it,” Livia countered. “I will go.”

Three sets of eyes are better than one,” Fausta told her, eyeing her with gratitude over saving them from the shark. “We shall all go.”

Livia wanted to argue. Then she thought better of it. Indeed, three sets of eyes would have a better chance of finding the wayward object than just hers. Besides, she was appreciative of their willingness to assist her in locating the knife.

They all took deep breaths. On their third one, their companions released their grip on their ropes. The three divers rode their weighted plates downward, anxiously looking around for the potential return of the shark as bubbles trickled out of their noses.

They all bottomed out within a few moments of each other. Livia motioned in three different directions, radiating outward from their landing spot. Then she turned and began searching the ocean floor, occasionally glancing upward.

Barcusa and Fausta acknowledged the plan with a nod to each other. Then they turned and began a search as well. The three divers fanned out away from each other, looking behind rocks and formations.

Livia covered as much territory as her lungs would allow, nervously glancing upward from time to time. But she did not locate the knife. That’s when she turned around and headed back to her skandalopetra before straining her lungs any further, searching along her return path as best she could.

She saw Barcusa coming back toward the weighted plates as well. But Fausta was farthest away. A moment later, she, too, turned and headed back toward them.

Livia immediately became concerned about Fausta. She did not want her companions to endanger themselves over her carelessness. So she waited near her skandalopetra for her female dive companion to draw closer.

Barcusa motioned, “Go on up. I’ll see to her safety.” Livia nodded as she climbed on and pulled on her rope. A moment later, she was on her way up, slowly releasing the last of her air.

She came up panting loudly for breath once her head cleared the surface. Cassius immediately became concerned. “Don’t endanger yourselves over something so trivial as a knife.”

Master entrusted it to us,” Livia replied. “We will search until we find it.” Then she started taking deep breaths. Marius shook his head at her before releasing his grip of her rope on her third deep inhalation.

She was on her way down when she passed her diving companions on their way up. But Fausta did not look so good. Livia became concerned as she released a couple of bubbles out of her nose.

She reached the bottom, only to discover a small marker of rocks that hadn’t been there before. Obviously they had been set up by her companions. Had that been Barcusa’s idea? Or Fausta’s?

No matter. It was good thinking. At least it would give them a reference point. And hopefully, it would help them not to search the same area twice.

Livia tried to cover an area of ocean bottom she had not searched before. But there was no knife. She was beginning to think Cassius might be right. They might have to accept going back without it.

She looked up, only to notice Barcusa and Fausta had not returned. Was there a problem? What if Fausta had stayed down too long?

With growing concern, she went back to her skandalopetra. She pulled on the rope and was rewarded with being pulled up. She slowly released her breath as she rose up, anxiously looking around for the missing shark until her head came up out of the water.

She looked over at Barcusa and Fausta who were still clinging to the side of the boat. They were taking long, deep breaths. “What happened?” she wanted to know.

Fausta pushed herself too long,” Cassius explained.

Then you must stay behind and revive yourself,” Livia told her.

Fausta waved her off. “I will be ok. Come, Barcusa. Let us go back down and search for the knife.”

It was in my possession when I lost it,” Livia told them. “I will find it myself. You stay here and rest.” But they suddenly dropped below the surface as Cassius and Rufus let go of their ropes.

She shook her head and frowned as she looked at Marius. “Are you sure she’s all right?”

They are fine,” he replied. “She came up panting a little too hard and took some extra time to recover. Now don’t stay down too long. If we cannot find the knife, we will go in and explain to master how you lost it. I’m sure he will understand.”

Livia nodded as she took three big breaths. Then she held the third one. Marius let go of her rope, allowing it to play out in his hands as she descended.

Livia looked down… and immediately became annoyed. Her companions were right back at it, kissing and caressing. She had always suspected she might have to find the knife on her own.

She bottomed out, her weighted plate kicking up a little soil. Her arrival immediately got the attention of her companions. But it did not spur them to renew the search. Instead, they came right over to her.

A moment later, they were all over her, touching and caressing her. Fausta took one of her nipples into her mouth and started sucking on it. Barcusa took the other one between his lips. Livia felt hands upon her back, her legs, her waist, her bottom… and her crotch.

What?? No! We don’t have time for this! We have to find master’s knife… oooohhh.”

Her willpower quickly melted away. She halfheartedly tried to push them away. That’s when Fausta grabbed her head, turned her face toward her, and then forcibly kissed her lips hard.

How could she resist? She mentally tried to call them back to their purpose on the ocean floor. But Barcusa was kissing her body all over as Fausta seductively rubbed her crotch, occasionally fingering her swollen nub.

This was all her fault. Livia should have gotten herself off sooner. Then she would have gotten these erotic feelings out of her system. Now they flared to life like a flame setting fire to a pile of kindling.

Master’s knife – master’s knife; we must find master’s knife!” Then it was Barcusa’s turn to pull her head to his side to forcibly kiss her lips.

She felt Fausta kiss her way down her body. Then her dive companion took her hand and deliberately wrapped her fingers around Barcusa’s swollen member as though urging her to stroke it. Livia felt how hard he was as he thrust inside her grip.

The knife-the knife; have you both gone mad…OOOHHHH!”

Barcusa’s hand was all over her breasts, caressing, fondling and molesting. Then she felt her legs being parted as Fausta moved between her thighs. A moment later, she felt an erotic jolt as a tongue probed her womanhood.

Knife? Were they looking for a knife? It was hard to remember now.

Barcusa would not stop kissing and caressing her. And Fausta would not stop probing with her tongue. All that pent-up sexual energy exploded in a sudden eruption of bubbly pleasure.

Her breath was gone. The gods – her breath was gone! She tried to break free, her hand reaching for a rope – any rope!

Barcusa helped her wrap her hand around one. She was suddenly pulled upward. She had to hold on tight, the sexual pleasure having dangerously depleted her reserves.

She remembered to release her breath. That’s when her lungs emptied. She was forced to hold her breath the rest of the way up.

She burst up gasping and coughing like crazy. That’s when she realized it was Rufus holding onto her line instead of Marius. “Are you well?” he asked with concern as his companions pulled up on the other two ropes.

She coughed and nodded. Then Barcusa and Fausta came up on either side of her. All three panted loudly for breath as though they had really pushed their times below.

Did you find the knife?” Marius asked with concern.

We need… one more trip down,” a panting Fausta told him. “We were… a little distracted down there.”

Rufus looked questioningly at Livia. She just blushed as she kept her peace. What could she tell them without exposing what had just happened to her down on the ocean floor?

We shall find it this trip down,” Fausta told the three on the boat.

How can you be so certain?” Marius wanted to know.

The gods will be with us,” Barcusa said to them with confidence. Livia certainly hoped that would be the case.

All three began breathing deeply. On the third deep breath, their ropes were released. They all rode their skandalopetras down, bubbles trickling out of their noses.

When they bottomed out, Livia hoped they would become serious and return to the search. That hope was quickly dashed the moment Fausta went upon her back and pulled her companion down on top of her in a 69.

The tongue returned to her womanhood. Livia bubbled helplessly as a crotch was pushed up into her face. There wasn’t much else she could do but return the favor, applying her tongue to the winking slit pressed against her lips. Pleasure swelled within her once again, threatening to blossom into a breath-stealing orgasm.

She didn’t see Fausta reach out from beneath her to grab a nearby appendage. Nor was she aware of her companion guiding it to a certain spot. But she instantly became aware of Barcusa’s member the moment it pushed its way into her from behind.

Livia had to consciously hold onto the air in her lungs as Barcusa thrust in and out of her. But it was an exceedingly difficult task. Fausta was licking and nibbling on her nub, the occasional bubble hitting her just right.

No! The knife! They, uh… they were supposed to be looking for master’s knife; right? It was so hard to concentrate with so much pleasure dulling her senses to their objective.

The first one hit when Fausta latched onto her nub and sucked. Livia winced and shuddered, bubbling as her pussy clenched around the shaft pushing deep inside her. Another hard thrust, and she was cumming again.

Livia became dizzy. She was out of breath again. Fausta was no longer beneath her, but Barcusa was still inside her.

What were they looking for again? Why couldn’t she remember? It was all such a haze!

She was dimly aware of being pulled upright. She was still impaled on Barcusa’s member with him behind her. But they were now going upward, his arm around her and holding on tight.

He suddenly went off inside her. Livia felt such intense pleasure that it overwhelmed her senses. All she was aware of was empty lungs and a sexual delight that threatened to carry her away like a flood into oblivion.

She suddenly became aware of being up at the surface, coughing like crazy as Barcusa helped to keep her from slipping below the surface. Events were a blur. Wait; where was Fausta??

She coughed again as she looked all around. Marius was pulling on a rope. She hoped Fausta was on the other end.

What broke the surface first was a knife proudly pointed upward. It was in Fausta’s hand. A moment later, her companion’s proud, smiling face came out of the water, moments before the exhausted diver started gasping like crazy.

Livia blinked in surprise. Then her face broke out into an expression of relief and gratitude. “You… you FOUND it??”

Now can we go?” Marius asked, sounding both relieved and anxious.

Livia was too tired to object. So the surface companions helped the tired divers back into the boat.

As they headed back, Livia hugged Fausta, thanking her for finding the wayward knife. Then she thanked her and Barcusa for… other things… without being too specific. They just smiled knowingly at her.

Fausta didn’t have the heart to tell her she’d located the knife right away their first trip down. But she had hidden it and then secretly conspired with Barcusa while they were up at the surface catching their breath, even as Livia had gone back down and had been alone on the bottom.
