June stories\/rewards will fall off at the end of July to make room for August rewards.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been a very difficult month. I\u2019ve been dealing with unexpected stress lately. I try to keep extra stories on hand for these situations. But it has made it challenging to work on things here at my desk. I do have the proper number of stories ready to upload for August. So right now I\u2019m looking toward September to make sure I have every level covered for the stories I will need to upload.<\/p>\n
One of the things that happened this month was that my cataract surgery got postponed\u2026 twice. The first time, they had a major power disruption for their building. So it got rescheduled for this current week. However, the doctor had a family emergency that postponed surgery again. I could either do one eye and then wait two weeks for the other one\u2026 or I could reschedule both eyes back to back in October. And since it would be just my luck the building could get washed away or hit by a comet before they could do my second eye, I\u2019ve decided to wait until later to have them both done back to back. That way I will only have restrictions for a week after surgery on both eyes instead of restrictions for one week after the first eye surgery and then restrictions for one week after the other eye surgery.<\/p>\n
Those pesky mice got into mom\u2019s car again. They love chewing on wires in the engine. It\u2019s been an ongoing battle for her. Other than that, she has been in good spirits and in reasonable health. So I thank God every day that I still have her around.<\/p>\n
Things are certainly going crazy around the world these days. Someone I know calls it \u201ccrazy with a capital Cruh\u201d (instead of a capital C). There are floods, fires, volcanoes and quakes, with threats of major quakes that could hit around the ring of fire. And it seems there\u2019s always a fight breaking out between two neighboring countries. Do you suppose God is trying to get someone\u2019s attention? All I know is that I\u2019m looking up every day.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, I\u2019ve been trying to work a little harder on my editing for you fine folks. There are lots of places where you could spend your hard earned cash. It humbles me that you have chosen to spend it here. So I want to really edit what I can in order to make sure the story flows in a good narrative for you, with as few spelling and grammatical errors as possible.<\/p>\n
