April stories\/rewards will fall off at the end of May to make room for June rewards.<\/p>\n
There have been a lot of distractions this month. For one, mom developed some issues just getting around from a backache situation. She developed a lot of pain, and had to abandon her sofa. It was already a challenge for her to get in and out of.<\/p>\n
I was over there almost every day, taking her to the chiropractor while helping out around the house. She tried not to keep me too long as she knows I have a life of my own. But there were some things she struggled to do on her own. Thus, whenever I helped her out, I usually took a lot of time when I got back home to decompress from the stress of worrying about my mother.<\/p>\n
As time has gone on, she has gotten much better. She\u2019s seen the doctor a couple times, and has even had at-home therapy. As a result, she is almost back to where she was when this whole thing started. My stress levels have diminished considerably, and I\u2019ve been able to apply myself to my stories a little better. I\u2019m so blessed to still have her in my life.<\/p>\n
Speaking of my stories, I have not failed to consider how blessed I am that you are all my patrons. You could go anywhere else, but you have chosen to come here. I\u2019m humbled and honored. Perhaps that\u2019s why I apply myself to editing and perfecting the flow of the narrative. I consider you all to be sharp as tacks. Thus, I feel I need to be at the top of my game when I write for you. That\u2019s probably why some stories don\u2019t get written. I\u2019m concerned about the quality I give to you, and if the details are not coming, I put it aside and work on something else until I can get it right.<\/p>\n
(Hey, we\u2019re having a little thunderstorm as I\u2019m writing this. The power just flickered off and on. Thankfully I only lost a sentence or two. But I\u2019m back up and running.)<\/p>\n
