I was just making the finishing touches on a new contraption for drowning experiments when Janet Wamsley came up to me\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDoc, can I see you for a moment?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I shook my head as I reminded her that Dr. Crocker was the true doctor around here. She chuckled as she told me how everyone else was referring to me as that, especially Jenna and Briana. Then she added, \u201cSpeaking of Jenna and Briana\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat about them?\u201d I asked. \u201cAre they having second thoughts? Do they wish to depart?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo, doc; it\u2019s not that at all. It\u2019s just that\u2026\u201d Then Janet lowered her head as she told me, \u201cThose drowning experiments you conducted the other day? I, uh\u2026 I\u2019d like to be next\u2026 that is, if you don\u2019t mind.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMiss Wamsley, you know the dangers. Besides, Skip would kill me.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo he won\u2019t, doc. I\u2019m volunteering of my own free will.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cJanet, you\u2019re here to help me take readings and monitor the valves and devices. You\u2019re not here to be a part of the experiments.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI know that, doc. But watching Jenna and Briana during those last experiments? I just\u2026 I mean\u2026 I want to\u2026 you know\u2026 I really enjoy being in the water, doc. I would appreciate it if you would consider using me for at least one experiment, especially now that Jenna and Briana are out of service for the next few days.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cJanet, I\u2019m not sure\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat about using this contraption, doc?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She pointed at the new water tube Dr. Crocker had recently installed. I was in charge of making sure it functioned properly. And since we were testing using specially oxygenated water, it was another way of seeing more results concerning an individual drowning in that water.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The tube was up, and I was filling it with water to check on the seals. Janet observed the immobilization pieces within. She just stared as though mesmerized.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I filled it completely. Then I let it stand like that for several minutes. Janet remained right there with me, looking inside the glass at the filled chamber.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I drained all the water away. Then I retracted the glass tube. It lowered into the floor with a hiss, leaving only the wet platform and the immobilization frame.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Janet stepped closer and touched the metal framing. Then she turned toward me. \u201cDoc, can I\u2026?\u201d She paused without finishing the thought.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know, Miss Wamsley. There\u2019s not much room in there. You can see it\u2019s quite claustrophobic.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOh, doc,\u201d she breathed. \u201cI\u2019d like to try it anyway; if it\u2019s ok with you. May I? I mean\u2026 I\u2019d like to drown at least once before Jenna and Briana recover and start demanding you drown them again.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDoc, please?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I sighed heavily. \u201cWell, everything seems in order. I suppose the next step in the process is to put someone inside and see what happens.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThen I\u2019m your girl!\u201d Janet proclaimed. A moment later she realized she\u2019d come across a little too demanding as she added, \u201cPlease, doc? If it\u2019s ok with you?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I checked my wristwatch. \u201cThey might be available,\u201d I murmured. \u201cLet me check.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I left to go contact our two orderlies. They said they could be ready in a few minutes. They seemed more than a little eager once I explained that Miss Wamsley would be the participant in the next experiment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I went back to the room with the drowning contraption, only to discover Janet was gone. Had she changed her mind? Inwardly I was glad, as I did not want to incur Skip\u2019s wrath if something happened to her.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I was about to go back and contact the orderlies to cancel their assistance when Janet returned. This time, she was wearing a robe. She smiled as she told me she was ready to drown for me.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I shook my head. \u201cI don\u2019t know about this, Miss Wamsley. I\u2019m not sure how Skip would feel if I\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSkip would be thrilled to hear I got to participate in a fetish of mine. He\u2019ll be happy to learn I got to drown under monitored conditions.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBeing monitored does not guarantee safety, Miss Wamsley.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOh, but I want to, doc. Besides, I can\u2019t wait to see how jealous Jenna and Briana will be once I arrive in the infirmary after participating in a drowning experiment. They\u2019ll be positively green with envy!\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think you have the right frame of mind for the experiment, Miss Wamsley.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

About that time, the two orderlies arrived. Janet grinned at them as she shed her robe. There wasn\u2019t a stitch of clothing underneath.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They both tried to maintain their professionalism as they looked my way. I just motioned at the frame before telling them, \u201cPut her in it. I guess she really wants to drown.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Janet Wamsley climbed onto the platform. The orderlies worked to lock her into the metal frame. She looked as though she was trying to be professional about it all. But her excitement showed through her demeanor.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They got her all locked in. Janet flexed her hands. She was really locked in nice and snug.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The orderlies stepped out of the way. \u201cOk, Miss Wamsley; if that\u2019s the way you want it. I guess I\u2019ll have to drown you then.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I went over to the controls and got started. A moment later, there was a distinct hissing sound. The walls to her tube were rising up all around her.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

She panted for breath as the tube rose up out of the floor until it came in contact with the ceiling above. There was another hissing sound as it sealed\u2026 or at least, that\u2019s what it was supposed to do. Janet just stood there, panting like crazy as her hands kept flexing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I spoke into the mike. \u201cReady to drown in there, Miss Wamsley?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWow, doc! You make it sound so exciting when you say it like that! Yes, I\u2019m more than ready!\u201d Her voice reverberated inside the chamber.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I shook my head as I started the water. It rose up around her feet, reaching her ankles. She closed her eyes and panted for breath. Was that a distinct moan I heard from inside the tube?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There was no need to delay the procedure. This was not for dramatic effect. Thus, water rapidly filled her chamber.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBig breath, Miss Wamsley. Or don\u2019t take one, if you prefer. You\u2019re going to drown either way.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She inhaled sharply. I thought I saw her cheeks bulge. The water was soon past her breasts and almost to her neck.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The specially prepared water rose all the way up past her face. It kept flowing until there was a quiet hum. A light on my board came on, indicating the chamber was completely full.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Janet\u2019s eyes opened up at that moment. Her cheeks were still bulging. Was she having second thoughts? Or was the excitement of the moment overwhelming her sense of reason and caution?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHold your breath for as long as you want in there, Miss Wamsley. Or don\u2019t hold it at all. You wanted to drown. So I\u2019m going to make sure you get your wish.\u201d I just hoped I wasn\u2019t going to regret my decision to let her go through with it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She held her breath for one minute. A few bubbles trickled out of her nose. Then she passed a second minute.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Her nipples were erect. She appeared to be sexually excited about the whole thing. She certainly looked as though she was writhing about in there.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Was she feeling claustrophobic? Was she regretting her decision? What was going through her mind at that moment?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I noticed the orderlies were staring at her. I could tell they were affected by her decision to go naked. It sounded like they were breathing heavily.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Janet hitched as she lost a sudden burst of bubbles. Instinctively, she bulged her cheeks. Her eyes widened in alarm.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She lost another burst of bubbles. Janet hitched again. A convulsion rippled through her chest, setting her breasts to bouncing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She appeared to take a huge gulp. There was an immediate response as she coughed up bubbles. Then she began thrashing about in her metal confinement.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The orderlies stared. I stared right along with them. Then Janet went into seizures as she kept gulping water.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I thought I saw a discharge down around her crotch. A few more bubbles came out of her parted lips. Janet stared dully as though she couldn\u2019t believe what had just happened to her.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I gave her the same mental countdown as I had with Jenna and Briana. Then I drained the tank. When it was empty, I began the process of retracting the chamber into the floor below.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The glass encircling her had just barely disappeared into the floor when the orderlies sprang into action. That was a lot of metal holding her in place. But they had her out of it surprisingly fast.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They hefted her around the corner to their waiting gurney. She was carefully laid out upon it as they started CPR. I thought I heard coughing as they wheeled her down the hall toward the infirmary.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

—<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A couple hours later, I went to go check up on her. She was in bed, beaming from ear to ear when I arrived. Her roommates looked less than pleased the moment I entered.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s been telling us all about it, doc,\u201d Jenna complained.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou didn\u2019t tell us about that drowning chamber,\u201d Briana added petulantly.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s because it wasn\u2019t quite ready yet, ladies.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWell, you should have told us!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI would have told you, Jenna, once it was ready.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWell, now you have to let us try it out next, doc.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll have to see how the data comes out with Janet\u2019s drowning, Briana. I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ll need to use it again, or how soon.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt won\u2019t be soon enough,\u201d Jenna told me. \u201cI\u2019m going next.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m next,\u201d Briana interrupted. \u201cI want the orgasm that Janet\u2019s been bragging about.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI take it you\u2019re unharmed, Miss Wamsley?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cUnharmed?? She fucking loved it, doc! I want to ride it next!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I looked at Jenna and shook my head at her remark. \u201cAllow me to process this batch of data first.\u201d Then I nodded at Janet.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThank you, Miss Wamsley, for your participation.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHappy to do it, doc. Contact me anytime I can be of further assistance.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Briana was having none of that. \u201cOh, no! I\u2019m going next!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jenna quickly interjected, \u201cNo, I am!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I just shook my head at the three of them. But Miss Wamsley\u2019s expression indicated she was more than satisfied all the way around with the outcome of the experiment. I wisely took my leave before any further arguments could develop.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
