November stories\/rewards will fall off at the end of December to make room for January rewards.<\/p>\n
As crazy as this world has gotten, I\u2019m surprised we\u2019re still here. Wars, natural disasters, signs in the skies (drones) and this continuous avian flu still attacking the birds, including our chickens. And I\u2019m hearing reports all over of people being laid off from large companies. So I pray you still have your jobs.<\/p>\n
We sure had an interesting election cycle; didn\u2019t we. I got tired of all the political ads on the radio and in my mail. And as crazy as all this has been, I have a funny feeling things are going to get even crazier in 2025. I believe this has become our new normal, but I have a sneaking suspicion our \u201cnew normal\u201d is going to keep deteriorating. Some people are understandably preparing for the worst.<\/p>\n
Mom and I are not worried. For starters, I\u2019m going to focus on my stories. I still sprinkle in some older tales I\u2019ve edited. But I am uploading a lot of newer material written in \u201824 (including one from \u201823). And I\u2019m going to keep focusing on mom while I still have her.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re eating out a couple times this week to celebrate Christmas. Our present to each other is to simply spend some time together eating and chatting. And as for the rest of it? I\u2019m just going to sit back with some popcorn and soda and see what happens. You\u2019ve probably guessed by now Who I\u2019m putting my faith and hope in, and it certainly isn\u2019t the incoming administration, although I do hope things change for the better.<\/p>\n
