I have thought long and hard before deciding to make a page for donations. For one, it took me this long just to get a paypal account. For another, I have an overseas friend who has wanted to send money to me as an additional way of thanking me for the stories I have written. He tells me to take it and have a nice sit-down meal somewhere instead of one of those fast food places… or to treat my mother to a nice meal whenever she is in town.<\/p>\n
So with that in mind I am opening up a donations page. I like to write but I have not yet reached the point where I am making some extra money with my stories. I hope to improve on that sometime in the near future. In the meantime I am enjoying writing for the library, and I appreciate your votes and your comments.<\/p>\n
Any donation of any size as your way of saying “Thanks, Riwa” is greatly appreciated. I certainly have places where I can apply the donations (one unpaid medical bill which I am paying down springs to mind). But if you choose not to donate, I understand. Any vote or occasional comment on any of the stories is also greatly appreciated. I am mostly thankful that of all the many websites that are out there, you have chosen to visit my library. And for that I am grateful.<\/p>\n\n\n
